Success journal 1187: Legoland weekend with Gerda and Alexander

After my Friday work, I crossed the straits of Johor on foot. Left work at 6pm, reached JB at 8pm, and mid alley, South Key, at 830pm. 

I gathered with my family, and we took a taxi to our Airbnb. Affinity residence next to Legoland. 

We got a 2-bedroom and 2-toilet Airbnb for about RM300 per night. The kids loved it. 

On day 1, we had a quick breakfast at home and walked to Legoland Water Park. The kids love it. We played until 4pm. Went back home to rest and get ready for our dinner. We had Korean cuisine at Jenny's restaurant near Bukit Indah. 

After our meal, we did a foot massage. The place has a TV, so the kids are entertained too. 

Day 2 Sunday, 

We woke up late, then drove to the attic. The food was good, and the service was so-so. After that, we went to Aeon Terbrau for go-karts. We spent the whole afternoon there and took the private hire back to JB. 

We left AEON at about 1930hrs and reached around 9pm. The to-and-fro transport cost us SGD260. 

Success journal 1186: Disney adventure weekend with family and friends

It was the talk of the town during the 1st few voyages. We boarded the cruise from Singapore on Friday afternoon and ended on Monday morning. The cruise is to nowhere, and it costs 2600 for a family of 4. 

It's Jayden's and Jacob's school holidays.

Great food and great entertainment. I love the show; remember, and Elsa can sign really well. 

Jayden liked the water slide, and Jacob loved the drawings and movies. We got on board with Jayden's ex-classmate in st James. Mira and her family. They had a great time together. 

I enjoyed the time spent with my family, and it was also a celebration of our 10th anniversary. 

Grateful and not an easy road.

Success journal 1185: Back pain MC3 days

Been on MC for 3 solid days, spent a good time with my kids and Jenny 

These days are required to maintain relationships and bond with my kids 

Also required for my body to recover from all the stress. Thanks to my team for being so supportive. 

Grateful. 

Success journal 1184: Work is consuming me again

Ever since my SPM introduced a meeting at 6pm. I have to stayed back until 9pm. 3 times a week.

This is taking out my family time 

Success journal 1183: short and intense weekend with 2 kids while Jenny away

It has been a while since I get to spend time with my kids. Get to spend time with them fully. 

Brought Jayden to rugby on Sunday morning, sally brought JJ to gymnastics class. 

Had a good conversation with Noah's dad, about how he juggles 3 kids for rugby. 

After a short conversation, head to the nearby mall for a short breakfast. Jayden bumped his head. Head coach Garrett brought him to the medic to check in case of concussion. Jayden is a strong boy. 

After rugby, Jayden and I headed to toa payoh, I did my hair treatment in two herbs for 38. After my two herbs session, we then go Novena for our KFC lunch. Spent about 40 for a meal of 4. Is not cheap to feed a family now. 

After our lunch, we took a short nap. I slept with JJ. 

After our nap, I did English with Jayden, and we then brought our sports gears to the playground to do badminton. 

After badminton we went for ice cream in burnt cones. As they are doing ACS founders' day promotion. Loved their pistachio flavours. 

After ice cream, we went home and Jayden did his science. After our science past paper we then had our dinner and continued with piano and dancing. Bless him for the hardwork. 

Jenny reached Singapore from her riding trip in JB. I went out to fetch her from novena food centre. We had a great talk and ended the day.
