Success journal 654: Connecting with Jenny

I reached home around 2238hrs. After my work and my badminton. Tidy up my things

We chatted for a while and I had a glass of wine. To ease my sleep 

Really had a deep conversation for a short 20mins. Grateful for this conversation. Rare and requires a lot of effort 

Success journal 653: Grateful, Jenny and Jayden back from HK

Thankful Jacob is ok, spent $200 for a 40.5 degree Celsius fever 

Play badminton with mates 

Tidy up my things and spent time with Jacob 

Went to Changi to fetch Jayden and Jenny yesterday

I spent one hour to upkeep and colour code my messy calendar.

Grateful for my parents and aunty support, mentally in things and continue to be nurtured in life. 

Grateful for Jenny mum that kept supporting me and understanding 

Grateful for my kids to be healthy 

Grateful for my helper to take care of my kids 

Grateful for Jenny to be smart and healthy, loving and understanding 

Grateful that I can travel around, play badminton, edit video 

success journal 651: CNY 2023 Holiday

20th Of Jan 2023

Took a flight together with my family to HK for CNY celebration. 

Touched down HK, Katy and her Husband came to fetch us. And we went Vwalk in Nan Cheong for a buffet dinner with the family. Our treat 

21th of Jan 2023

Went to Tsang Tsui columbarium, to pay respect to Jenny dad. 

Went to scient musuem. Dinosaur exhibition 

Dropped by Shen Shui Po, to check out electronics stuff. 

We had reunion dinner with Jenny family. 

22th of Jan 2023 

Went shopping in Tsim Tsa Tsui, took the ferry and went to IFC. 

23th if Jan 2023

We connected with cousins and played volleyball together. 

We went to Jenny brother place to visit. 

We did BBQ together in Katy's place. 

24th of Jan 2023 

Yum cha with Vera and her family in Mong Kok's Mall Moko. They got a nice playground for the kids. 

Went back home and packed my things 

Katy and Fung fung took me and Jacob to airport with their Tesla, a popular electric car, which they can save fuel at this point of time. 

Touched down Singapore, parents came to fetch me from airport. 

We chatted and went to sleep around 1am. 

25th of January 

Rained whole day, we had breakfast together and went to Orchard for shopping. We started from Tang and walked to Decathlon. 

We had lunch at Tang food court , coffee in toast box in centre point. 

Michelle brought us to a Korean Meal Hyang Yun in Tanjung Pagar

We then took the MRT via Thomson East Coast Line to Gardens by the Bay. 

We went to the river Hong Bao festival in Gardens By the Bay. 

My Dad liked it so much. 

26th of January 2023 

Fly day. My parents and aunty Jo Packed their things and we went to the airport in the morning. 

Had a long breakfast in the food court and I sent them off.. while I was watching them going through the security, I am wondering when I will see them again. 

success journal 650: long weekend

Last Friday morning, Jenny was not feeling well and she was overwhelmed with all the tasks at hand and responsibilities. 

All she needs is my time and I decided to call it an off day 😊

I made the decision only when I was on the way to work. I didn't regret it

We didn't do anything much that day as she is not feeling well. I also cancelled my badminton session so I could spend more time with her. 

We sent her mum off back to Hong Kong and I caught up with my kids, wife and grand aunty. 

Gaining a few grams of weight. 

I am a tea lover 

Success journal 649: baba rebounding

I am closing my eyes through the challenging period, and now it is rebounding. 

If I didn't buy when it was 70++, why do I top up at 100++? What had changed? 

Nothing apart from price action.

Success journal 647: touching base with people through badminton

I love my badminton routine, apart from the fact that it is slightly pricey. I am spending around 36 per week. 

On top of that, I am making real connection 

Success journal 646:Short weekend, fine dining. Happy wife happy life

Life has been challenging, tiring and stretching 

Brought Jenny to an sgd500++ meal, Claudine to rekindle our fine dining experience. 

The menu was all in French, and I picked the veil's thymus gland as my main. -.-

There goes my $500 

Lesson learned- Ask 

Apart from that, everything else is excellent.

I am starting to go through the homework motion with my kids. It is not easy to tame him down for exercise at night. It will take a bit of time. Too bad we don't have such a habit, which caused him to be reluctant to do math exercises with us.

A few days of early sleep for recovery after celebration

Had a massive alignment with Jenny to support our kids and things that she is frojting and managing for the family. Took up a few tasks for the family so she could be more relaxed. 

Habit went to the library, went to the library in Somerset to borrow a few books.
