My wife arrange couple spa yesterday, but due to work arrangement I had to cancel it. She went the couple spa herself. Poor her. 

She also arranged all the family matters and has to ensure all this family matters herself.

And also a project with resources. Never go into a project where there isn't any money left. 

I left at 6pm yesterday without guilt for the 1st time. Of course my bosses checked on me

Success journal 1165: 2026 fishing and kayaking trip, Shaun wedding KK trip

Grateful that, I get to have the energy, time and money to do all these trips. 

Kk trip has been great. Mainly is to catch-up with my family. Get to connect with the Hung hung family, Peter's, ah man and guan eng and my aunties like Jo, Sharon, ping, Michelle etc. 

Of course most importantly is to connect with my brother and parents. 

In general, people are concerned with my weight which I have to take it seriously and to stay healthy. 

Success journal 1164: it has been a while, Jayden got eagles award, 5% gain for the year

As the year is coming to an end. This year has been a good year to me. 

I got lucky draw 1st prize in D&D 

Project gratuity 

Good bosses taking care of me and trust me

Lovely and well performing kids 

Jayden has got eagles award at P3. That is like top 5% of his age group. 

My portfolio has gained 5% this year and hoping for a smooth remaining days.

Is tough, work is tough. Life is tough. 

Success journal 1162: Lazy and fat. I work more than 72hours per week.

Success journal 1161: JJ is 4 year-old

I am grateful that my 2 kids are healthy and lovely. Yesterday was JJ bday. He has been full of energy and cheeky. 

Although sometimes can be annoying but mostly cute and adorable and high energy. 

He always welcome me home and say good bye when I leave for work. 

Brought him out for ice cream yesterday and last weekend, sally cooked him a feast and bought some present for him.

Jenny and the kids are away

Woke up at around 9am went to united square for McDonald's 

Then joined my friends for potluck to celebrate Koko Tien's bdae. 

Catched up with the Nottingham gang, played rummy and had cakes 

After that went home and joined a strong LI bishan club house by K. 

After badminton, I went back to rest for a while and went to casino with CCY. Won about 900 and came home. 

Sunday morning, woke up late, had some quick breakfast and went to OCBC for badminton. 

After badminton came home to rest. 

Joined another social game with CCY and his friends in kovan. 

Rushed back home to meet Jenny and kids. They came back from bintan.

I am traveling about 90mins to and from for my work. 

Getting used to it.

Success journal 1152: My last day in T315, spent time with JJ

Been a while since I last update my blog. Been busy with the transition and life has been tough. 

Just gave up the down payment for the property. Which is about AUD7,707

This is the money Jenny and I spent to buy clarity on our financial situation. We reaction to the situation and didn't do a properly and thorough consideration before making the move. 

We did not sit down together and discuss work on the numbers. It was a good house but our financial situation is just not ready.

Thanks for working out the bank loan which I could have got it for free. 

Sometimes we just need to put so much money to spend time on working on it. 

I could have used that to buy insurance, stock or crypto. Anyway case close and move on. 

Leaving t315 is like leaving a good boss. I think Seou is like the best boss in LCBC. My direct superior also has been very nice to me too. I will also miss my badminton kakis in Expo. Been great routine and I can see my badminton got slight improvement. Enjoying watching myself play lol 

Anyway, time to go new place to start my work and badminton.

Success journal 1151: Holding through my stocks, packing things up, talk with my manager, lead with facts

I had a conversation with my current APM jia Sheng in T315. Very easy for him to comment. 

Seems like the road is not easy for me to continue in this company. Perhaps I am being labelled as incapable. 

Expectations is unreasonable. I just need to tank through. But I am grateful that my apm is helping me out to give me a space to grow. Appreciate that. 

He mentioned 3 points 

1. To lead with facts. For me to move to the next level, I need to fact finding. 

2. I need to be accountable for everything. Cannot blame my department. Missed out the signage, what was stated in sdre and we missed out. 

3. To ensure what needs to be done and what not. 

Success journal 1150: Transfer to Micron project

Been hearing this part. Going to a fast track project within a company from 4th of August. 

Yesterday came home from work. Had dinner and did a herbal remedy together after our visit to uncle tan. 

Good to get the family together on this. 

Success journal 1149: Peace of mind, cancer herb tour by Steven in uncle tan herb garden

Last weekend was a great one. After work I went to marina bay sands to join jenny's cousin and my family for a meal in Rasapura's Master. 

Cost us about 70++ for that meal but everyone is enjoying it.

After our meal, we went out of marina bay sands and enjoyed the NDP fireworks preview.  Although it was just a preview, but it was amazing.  We accompanied jenny's cousin back to hotel in tanglin and went back home. After reaching home, I brought Yoshi out for a walk. 

Sunday was a chill one, we woke up late, cooked breakfast for the family. Brought Yoshi out in the morning, family followed together. After that, JJ went to gymnastics lesson with sally while Jayden Jenny and I went to a private cancer herb tour. We learnt about Leia, south Africa leave, Sabah snack plant and guava leaves.

After the herb tour, a newly met friend Alex brought us to kranji mrt. We took the train to mrt to novena and had our lunch in yoshinoya. 

After our lunch, we went back home to take a nap. After our nap, I brought the kids down for a swim while Jenny and I just chill by the pool side. After a while, James and his mother joined us downstairs. They had a great time playing together. JJ invited James to play his house to play too. 

After swimming, we went back home for a meal, go through the homework with Jayden while JJ going through Chinese cartoon. 

I called my parents and heard the news that we have got a 4.2million contract from imago. Blessed the family. 

I brought Yoshi out, bought a cup of iced americano and nuggets(which was free) for supper. I shared with Jayden and we retired back to our room. 

What a peaceful weekend. Grateful. 

Success journal 1148: Badminton social with Melvin, Hong kiat, SIM and Chong beng

After work, took a bus 38 to tampines. Found this nice Kueh peanut charcoal. 

Bought some for the family. I need to have this family caring mindset. 

Bought one for Melvin too. 

After that went for a game, ran quite a bit 

Not too bad, is always good to play a game with ex colleagues and catch up with them. 

After back home, I brought Yoshi out, as he seems to be waiting at the door. Chatted a few lines with Jenny before she knocked off. 

Investment has been doing well. 

Success journal 1147: Back to workday routine

A other typical workday 

After work, took the bus home, upon reaching home, I nearly overeat 

After my dinner I sat down with Jayden to revise his home work. His 听写got 82% the lowest I haver ever seen. 

I must keep revising with him, so he will not be left out. Creating an environment for him is very important. Maybe to watch Chinese cartoon 

Success journal 1146: Committing to assets, education funds and property, ATJ gathering at the sail

While chatting with Jenny, we are spending a lot of money paying down interest and etc. 

Whole the kids are growing up and we probably will have a lot more of arguments revolving money. Not sure if this Johor move is sustainable. 

Worst case is we rent out the property in JB for a few years and come back for it. It doesn't sound as bad. If JB is gonna turn out to be like Shenzhen. Then we are right in the moment to invest. With better connectivity in the future and real job. God knows. 

Last week, got hmwork to handle on Saturday and had to go back office, had lunch with the family. Budget friendly. 

Then after lunch we took a nap, and I went to novena and orchard to sort out our UOB stuff. So that we can get the full bonus interest out. 

Closed my uob account and prepare to open a joint bonus interest account. Never be emotional with money. They are just a tool. 

Met a staff in UOB that said she is from KK too. 

Chatted with wilson and he reckoned me cardano token. He always on the forefront. 

Chio pang bought 17k insurance for the family every year. He is into protection. 

Jenny is very doubtful on insurance. I have to change her mindset on this. 

We have a dinner night out in Muji and we discussed about our finance matters. Left the two kids at home. Sometimes we need to have kids free night. 

Sunday morning we did a late wake up, took a taxi to Jacob's gymnastics lesson. Jayden spent some time with us doing his homework work and reading while I caught up with my videos editing. Currently is very raw but just to keep uploading to Youtube to save some memory. 

After the lesson, Jenny brought us back home and we had instant noodles for lunch. Took a short nap and we went the sail to meet up with the All that jazz gang. 

Ayumi was very nice to open her place to accommodate us. The view was great and the kids enjoyed the swimming and the hit bath. 

Success journal 1145: Durian with CCY, Kerwin

After work

Went to Bedok bus interchange hawker centre

Ordered some dumplings and xiao long baos eat together with CCY and kerwin

After our meal and short catch-up we then go soon guo durian stall. We ordered green bamboo, d24 and MSW. Green bamboo has this smallest seeds, taste a bit bitter but not as creamy. D24 comes with a big seed, creamy and taste bitter while the last one which we got small MSW tastes nice, creamy and bitter. In conclusion, we think the green bamboo and MSW were good and value for money. Have to find the uncle with the cap. He knows how to get a good one

After our durian feast, I took a cab home to spend time with Jayden and also Jenny. 

Jayden shared me about his encounter with an ant colony Infront of our house and Jenny shared with me about how her staff dynamics. Grateful that I get to hear their stories. 

Success journal 1144: Intense week for myself

With work, sports and friends. 

I don't get to spend much time with my family and kids 

They are going the enrichment and stuff. 

Not easy to maintain a family 😜 

Need to spend a lot of time and resources with them 

I get to see them really rarely.
