Success journal 869: Xmas weekend

Saturday night- 
 I rushed to orchard to meet Jenny and Jayden for dinner. 

We had dinner in Wisma Atria, while Jenny shopped for her Xmas present. We bought some domestic from Christian Dior 

We then took a bus back home. I continued my work. 

Sunday Xmas eve. 
We woke up late, Jayden missed his class and we had ABIT of hoo-ha in the morning 

Brought Jayden to Muay Thai session, we then have our breakfast in proofer, a bakery in United square. Jenny then joined us, part of my initiatives is to not drink out and save money. 

After our breakfast, we then went back home. I transferred extra 50 for aunty Elly for Xmas.  

I cooked noodles for the family. 

We then wrap presents and wrote cards for our family member. 

Took a short nap, 

We then went to cold storage to buy some stuff for the Xmas gathering Jenny is hosting on Xmas day. 

Jenny and I went to Oyster bank in Great world city for a kid-less date night. Jayden wanted to join so badly. 

The oyster meal was awesome. I left a great review. Been a while since we bond together like that. 

The night was . Great

Monday morning 
I sorted our bills in the morning, guest came around 11am. 

We eat and hang around until 4pm. The guest seems to be enjoying it. 

After they left, we quickly get ready for our 2nd round. We took a car to Kate's place. The kids played so well together with Sheung Sheung and fei fei. 

We left their place around 9pm. All knackered. We had so much fun that night xoxo.

Success Journal 867: Eat less than I burn

Yesterday, I cut my Subway meal into 6inch. Grateful for this part. 

Perhaps my smaller portion and meatless meal are working now. 

And I went for a badminton session from 80 pm to 10 pm. Less on the smash.  More on the cardio and making friends. 

Some like deep dive connections, some like the touch and connections and sharing the news. 

I am grateful that I tapped into this kind of network here. 

Continue to push, changing mindset. 

I am connecting with my kids and reading ten pages a day

Success Journal 866: life could have so much easier

Yesterday, my family seemed to be very relaxed. Probably because Jenny was not feeling well, so the heat was taken away. 

I got home; Jenny took away a chicken meal for me. 

After my meal, I let Jayden practice his piano. 

After his piano, we read books together. 

We start slowly with good habit

Success journal 865: A short weekend but grateful

My mother-in-law is going back to HK. My kids miss her dearly, especially Jayden. 

We spent the whole day together 

I get to jog about 4km while sending Jayden to Dancing class. Which I am grateful for, too. 

Have to keep that running altitude. 

I also got to eat less than usual yesterday, except for a can of Coke and the chips at night. Grateful. 

Another good habit that we tried yesterday was the reading part. We brought our books in our bags, and we got to read while we were travelling.

Left work around 1930hrs yesterday, reach home around 2000hrs

Had a quick dinner, and accompany Jenny and Jayden for the night. 

Jayden practise on the piano, while I am next to him pushing him to practise. Kiasu parent indeed

Success journal 862: Skipped my meal and back to routine

As usual, every holiday I tend to over eat. I guess this is the one that is killing me. 

I just have to cut down all this rubbish food and go fasting when I travel. At least to skip a few meals or stuff.
